CMS web accounts are available to all official KU Units or research projects. Student organizations and personal websites are not eligible for use of the KU CMS (alternative options here: webtools.ku.edu/accounts)
In order to obtain an account on the CMS, the unit must first send at least one individual through the CMS basics workshop. After completing training, KU IT will create your site at yoursitename.drupal.ku.edu and grant access to the users who have completed training.
Units that don’t have a staff member with technical experience in managing a web environment can defer Site Administrator duties to KU IT Web Development and Interface Design, while keeping Contributor and Editor roles in house.
Request Site Administrator access by completing the form below. Please allow 2-3 days for your site to be initially created. Your initial site will be empty and will display the default navigation for academic unit sites.
